Introduction
In early 2000, when Andy Mooney was hired by Disney to help the dropping
sales, the idea for the Disney Princess “era” was born. One day, He found
himself surrounded by young girls dressed as princesses. “They weren’t even
Disney things. They were regular princess things,” he said. Soon after
realizing, the Disney Princess line was formed.
Today there are over 25,000 products based on the Disney princesses.
