Bill Rosenberg invests $5,000, to form Industrial Luncheon Services. Soon enough, he took a big idea in a little truck and turned it into his first shop, "Open Kettle", in Quincy, Massachusetts. In 1950, the name changed to Dunkin' Donuts. In 1955, his first franchise agreement was signed and executed in Worcester, MA, and the rest, as we say, is history.		At the end of 2008, there were 8,835 Dunkin' Donuts stores worldwide, including 6,395 franchised restaurants in 34 United States and 2,440 international shops in 31 countries.
	Another fun fact is that Dunkin' Donuts is more than just pastries. You can also find coffee drinks, slushies, pizza, breakfast sandwiches, and so much more. Instead of just stopping at Dunkin' Donuts for a snack or for breakfast, visit them for lunch as well.
While their competitor, Krispy Kreme has only 30 flavors, Dunkin' Donuts has an amazing 52 flavors of donuts. You can literally find a flavor for everyone. If you aren't sure what to get a fun fact to remember is that you can ask for an assorted box of flavors that the employee will pick at random.
